Lava Iris Fuel 20 with 4400mAh battery launched at Rs 5,399

Indian handset maker Lava has launched Iris Fuel 20, its new budget smartphone at Rs 5,399. The phone will be available for purchase in retail outlets across India and leading e-commerce portals starting next week.

Lava Iris Fuel 20 sports a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display. Powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM, the phone comes with 4GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The phone supports 720p HD video playback.

It runs Android 4.4 KitKat. The phone sports a 5MP rear camera with flash support and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera on board.

It is powered by a 4400mAh battery which the company claims offers 42 hours 2G talk time, 13 hours video playback and 35 hours music playback time.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports 2G connectivity, micro USB v2.0, Bluetooth V4.0 and Wi-Fi.

Available in white and metallic grey colours, Lava claims that the Iris Fuel 20 has the second biggest smartphone battery available in the country.
